We are looking for an Allied Health Assistant to join our wonderful team.
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Allied Health Assistant who is also passionate about teaching Swimming and Pilates.
This is a mixed role that offers an exciting opportunity to support our clients in a range of therapeutic settings. As part of the Kerin Health team, you will have the chance to make a significant impact while developing new skills and qualifications through on-the-job training and support.
This is a permanent part-time role (25 hours per week) with the flexibility to extend hours.
This role will work in both Parkes and Forbes.
Key Responsibilities
Allied Health Assistant:
Assist allied health professionals in delivering therapeutic interventions and support services.
Help clients with exercises and rehabilitation activities as directed by clinicians.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
Swimming Instructor:
Deliver swimming lessons to children and parents (individuals and groups), focusing on water safety and skill development.
Tailor lessons to suit the needs and abilities of little clients, including those with special requirements.
Foster a supportive and positive environment to build client confidence in the water.
Pilates Instructor:
Lead group and individual Pilates sessions, tailored to varying levels of fitness and ability.
Focus on improving strength, flexibility, posture, and injury prevention.
Provide clear instructions and modifications for exercises, ensuring client safety and engagement.

Essential Qualifications:
We are looking for a passionate individual who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to our supportive team. No formal qualifications are required, as we will provide full training and financial support for relevant certifications.
Requirements:
No prior qualifications required.
2 year minimum commitment to this role.
A genuine interest in supporting individuals' health and wellbeing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiastic about working in a team and providing a high level of client care.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
Desirable Experience:
Experience in health, fitness, or sports-related roles.
Interest in or experience with Pilates or swimming instruction.
