Lactation Consultations
Convenient. Comfortable. Compassionate.
A note from Rachel
When breastfeeding my 5 day old baby wasn't going as smoothly as I thought it would have, I reached out to Felicity for support and she offered me an appointment within the day!
I joined the Zoom to meet with Felicity, in my own home, with my pyjamas on, and my toddler's running around in the background. She shared so much support and knowledge and helped me so much with breastfeeding my baby.
After our appointment, Felicity sent through a range of strategies that we had discussed on the call. This was helpful because my brain was in the newborn fog, and I needed something written down to remember.
She then followed up with me after 48 hours to check in and see how he was going and how his feeding was.
I am so grateful for the service she offered me while I was breastfeeding little Gus and I can't wait to offer this amazing lactation service to those who will benefit greatly like myself.
xx R.

FAQs
How can Felicity support?
As a new parent, Felicity will be your go-to resource for all things related to breastfeeding. She offers invaluable assistance with common lactation challenges such as low milk supply, discomfort during breastfeeding, and issues like mastitis or blocked ducts.
Should your baby encounter difficulties with latching or weight gain, Felicity will work with you to enhance feeding sessions and devise specialised schedules for premature babies. In cases requiring additional medical attention, she can also facilitate a referral to a healthcare professional.
Can I meet with Felicity before my due date?
Absolutely! We highly recommend expecting parents to arrange a consultation with a Felicity (IBCLC) before their baby arrives. During a prenatal visit, Felicity can lay the groundwork for successful feeding: conducting a breast assessment, demonstrating optimal feeding positions tailored to your body, assisting in selecting a breast pump, and preparing you for your baby’s arrival.
Who would benefit from seeing Felicity?
Anyone responsible for feeding a baby. While feeding your baby is a natural process, it’s certainly not easy. Felicity will provide support to leave you feeling at ease and confident in achieving your feeding objectives.
